Having penetrated to the edge of Tula, the Grossdeutschland found itself facing an industrial area defended by the 413th Rifle Division. An industrial zone was an ideal
location for the placement of enemy strongpoints. As such, the task of ferreting out the defenders would have been better suited to infantry teams, but they had yet to catch up to the rapid advance of the panzer's. It fell to the tankers of the Grossdeutschland regiment to dig the Soviets out.
Objectives: Your company is to move east parallel to the road and reduce all enemy strongpoints in the industrial sector assigned to it. Your platoon forms the left flank of the company battleline. You will be opposed by antitank, antitank rifle and machine gun positions. At least one reconnaissance platoon may also be in the area. If at all possible, use ranged HE to reduce the enemy strongpoints before reaching the structures in the factory area.
